The Plug-in Spy tool (provided in org.eclipse.pde.runtime, since Eclipse 3.4) shows various information about the workbench, including help context IDs associated with the current (in focus) UI control.
Plug-in Spy is particularly useful for testing and troubleshooting context-sensitive help.
