Defining Persistent Types in orm.xml

In Project Explorer, from the project context menu, choose Properties.

Choose JPA → JPA Diagram Editor .

Select the Add to entity mappings in XML checkbox, to determine to which orm.xml file the persistent type and its attributes should be registered.

Choose Apply, and then choose OK.
